What's the role?

The purpose of the role is to lead productivity and process improvement projects aligned with business initiatives. Provides expert input into definition of global standards to optimize business processes. Implements global processes while making local adjustments as needed. Typically Global Process Expert. Medium to large size/complexity of organizations and/or processes.

What does the role involve?

  • Development & implementation of the regional lean, process & project roadmap of the Service Area in North America together with the service centers in Harrisburg, Irving, Visalia, Montreal, Chicago, Vancouver.
  • Development, coordination and implementation of LEAN & Process initiatives with executives and regional and global stakeholders
  • Focus on processes related to the topic of circular economy & sustainability, repair, spare parts management, transport logistics and MO channels
  • Monitoring the implementation of the program and the initiatives to continuously improve performance in Service Area HNA
  • Management of LEAN projects - both AMS internally and across divisions
  • Identification of internal and cross-divisional potentials and sustainable implementation of continuous improvement
  • Development of best practices with corresponding introduction
  • Further development and new development of standards for the continuous improvement of the tool service
  • Further development of the tool service organization - incl. training, coaching and exchange of experience on the topics of LEAN & processes
  • Close cooperation with the relevant Hilti stakeholders (e.g. Sales, Logistics, Marketing, AMS, BUs)

What you need is:

  • Master of Engineering or comparable
  • Several years of professional
    experience with management experience
  • Experience in the field of LEAN & processes, implementation of LEAN projects with proven success
  • Expertise with LEAN tools and methods, e.g. shop floor management, Kaizen, 5S, value stream analysis
  • Flexible, independent and goal-oriented way of working as well as very good organizational skills
  • Personality with drive and highassertiveness
  • Willingness to travel within W1 and internationally
  • Strong communication skills in English across different hierarchies
