In a nutshell:


The Operations Support will assist with aspects of the operations of one of our branches. This person will have the opportunity to be directly involved in operational support to help provide the best customer service to our growers. This is a seasonal position.


A sampling of what you'll do in this role:


  • Work across aspects of all day-to-day operations of the facility, including helping maintain DOT regulations (Comply, JJ Keller)

  • Learn all facets of the local business, including getting experience working across the branch including in the warehouse and the field

  • Establish and build relationships with branch personnel, peers, and customers through team building and interpersonal communications

  • Assist with seed treatments and seed warehouse operations

  • Support dispatching and logistics as needed or requested by management

  • Ensure the overall cleanliness of the facility

  • Work with NH3 operations

  • Provide support across the territory and the entire team as required to attain branch goals

  • Champion a positive work environment and overall employee morale

  • Other duties as assigned

What you bring to the role:


  • High School Diploma or equivalent

  • Class A CDL w/Hazmat and Tankers - Not required but preferred.

  • Knowledge and/or experience with agricultural operations

  • Ability to multi-task, take direction and work independently with minimal supervision

  • Flexibility and excitement to work in a role where no two days will be the same

  • Orientation towards being detailed and accurate with an ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously

  • Solid interpersonal skills and a positive attitude when working with peers, team members, and customers

  • Understand and maintain confidentiality

  • Willingness to get the job done, including the ability to work overtime hours during busy seasons

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Professional appearance

  • In compliance with all states and cities that require transparency of pay, the base compensation for this position ranges from $16.11 - $20.37 per hour. Note that wages may vary based on location, skills, and experience. This position is eligible for vacation, holidays, health, dental, vision, mental health, retirement plans, and other benefits.

Compensation and Benefits:


  • In compliance with all states and cities that require transparency of pay, the base compensation for this position ranges from $16.01 - $20.27 per hour. Note that wages may vary based on location, skills, and experience. This position is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus as well as vacation, holidays, health, dental, vision, mental health, retirement plans, and other benefits.
