What you will do:
Bring your enthusiasm and drive and you'll learn from some of the top talent in the energy industry. You'll have hands-on experience with your team and the support of our human resources team through this 10-week program. Growing both professionally and personally throughout the program could lead to future post-grad opportunities.

NJR is looking for interns to work in the Facilities department. Responsibilities will include:
• Assist facility technicians and work with outside contractors on all facets of work
• Set up various conference rooms throughout the General Office for meetings
• Work collaboratively with IT on employee and office moves
• Assist employees with daily facility requests
• Assist with setup of various company functions held at outside locations
• Work with facilities to maintain CDC guidelines
• Assist facility technicians with Preventive Maintenance Service on the equipment located at NJR/NJNG sites

Requirements:
• Currently enrolled in and attending a college or university; recent graduate of vocational technical program
• Ability to work overtime or in an emergency situation, scheduled overtime at nights and/or weekends
• Demonstrate ability to work safely
• Self-starter, ability to work independently and deliver results
• Ability to work outdoors on occasion and in inclement weather as needed
• Must be dependable, punctual, and produce reliable, accurate work results
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs.
• Valid NJ Driver's license
