Summary
The ideal candidate will be able to provide day-to-day administrative support to the Division Director, Deputy Director, Division personnel, Response Front Office, and the Region. They will be responsible for correspondence tracking to ensure timeliness. Our ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating with personnel internally and externally and multitasking in a high tempo environment. They will be analyzing and implementing policies and procedures and conducting technical reviews.

Duties
What will I do in this position if hired?

In this position, you will coordinate administrative actions to support requirements for requisitions and planning of various events.

Typical assignments include:
  • Managing WebTA / GovTA program
  • Assisting Concur Program
  • Assisting with Telework /Remote Program
  • Providing Daily support to DECD HQ's and Detachment personnel
  • Assisting Coordinating Hiring Recruitment packages for PFT's and IC CORE's
  • Assisting with conducting annual reviews on Internal Policies
  • Assisting with coordination a wide range of information and contact to assist with promoting Division initiatives
  • Assisting with Coordinating planning events
  • Assisting with Program Management project coordination
  • Assisting with Travel Budget
  • Assisting with Employee Performance Management Plan
  • Assisting with Director & Deputy Director Calendar

Requirements
The qualification requirements listed below must be met by the closing date of this announcement.

To qualify for this position at the GS-11 level, you must possess one full year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-09 level in the Federal government, which has equipped you with the skills needed to successfully perform the duties of the position. Experience may be obtained in the federal government, a state or local government, or private sector, and must demonstrate the following:
  • Analyzing and evaluating office operations to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of administrative work operations and include performance of one or more administrative support functions; and
  • Conducting special studies to resolve administrative problems; travel; time and attendance; procurement; technical review of correspondence; tracking of budgetary data.

OR
Education: Successful completion of a Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree or at least three full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.M in a related field. (Transcript required)
OR
Combination of education and experience.
