Job Summary: We are seeking a General Psychiatrist to join our team at ERC Pathlight, a leading mental health care system dedicated to the treatment of eating disorders and primary mood, anxiety, and trauma-related disorders. In this role, you will provide compassionate care to individuals with eating disorders at our Eating Recovery Center in Sacramento, California. Responsibilities: - Serve as a clinical professional on a team of exceptional clinicians, collaborating to make a real impact in the lives of patients - Work closely with all disciplines to ensure top-notch care for patients - Provide direct patient care for child and adolescent ages (caseload of 18 patients per week) and adult ages (caseload of 21 patients per week) - Conduct required patient contacts with documentation (2 per week) - Dedicate 25 hours per week to direct patient care, with the remainder focused on treatment planning, collaboration, professional development, and training - Treat patients aged 8-18 years for child and adolescent cases and 16+ for adult patients - Lead team-based admission assessments for up to 2 patients per day, with pre-screening done by the admission team - Follow a Monday-Friday onsite schedule with a week-long home call rotation every 5-8 weeks - Benefit from a full-support staff, including Therapists, Case Managers, Registered Dietitians, Primary Care Physicians, Registered Nurses, and administrative support - Practice evidence-based, high-quality psychiatric medicine to deliver superior patient care - Have the opportunity to connect with leaders in the field and engage in scholarly work Qualifications: - Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) - Completion of a psychiatric residency and Child and Adolescent fellowship or Adolescent Medicine Fellowship from an accredited residency program - Board eligibility in the appropriate specialty (board certification preferred) - Eating disorder experience is welcomed but not required, as weekly supervision and support will be provided for case conceptualization and treatment planning Benefits: - Competitive wages and advancement opportunities - Full benefits package starting on the first day of the month following hire - Health, Dental, Vision, Disability, and Life insurance - Generous paid time off and holidays - 401(K) with company match - Flexible Spending Account program - Professional development, including IAEDP Approved Supervisors on staff, conferences, and membership dues - Parental leave and adoption assistance - Medical licensure and full-service credentialing support - Relocation packages that may include temporary housing - Continuing education compensation and time off Join our mission-driven organization and be part of a culture that prioritizes individual, family, and group therapy, as well as provides world-class care to our patients.
