Position Overview

The TELUS International Commercial team is looking for an experienced business program manager. This position is responsible for monitoring operational spend across the broader Commercial teams, managing OPEX reporting and assisting with business analyst needs. The role will collaborate with all departments to determine ways of making workflows, reporting and processes more efficient, as well as cost effective. The business program manager will be expected to provide monthly T&E performance reports to internal groups within the organization. The role requires a blend of analytical skills as well as initiative and the ability to stay ahead of, or anticipate, business needs in a fast-paced environment. The individual will interface with finance, product marketing, and operations. Candidates must be capable of working independently, cross-functionally and display strong interpersonal communication skills.

Responsibilities
  • Working with core internal teams, collect and interpret data, analyze results and provide ongoing reports
  • Develop and implement geographical T&E policies and coordinate rhythm of the business activities cross functionally.
  • Gather OPEX and performance data and maintain Commercial roster information for QBP and non-QBP.
  • Identify and analyze cost center spend and align to budgets and targets.
  • Filter and "clean" data by reviewing reports and performance indicators to locate areas for process improvement
  • Work with management to prioritize business and information needs
  • Locate and define new process improvement opportunities
  • Help design, document and maintain business processes
  • Work to define a Global Sales Travel Guidance that supports team members globally
  • Work with procurement with Travel tool implementation & extend to other geos where possible
  • Support the Commercial team - where needed - with best travel options
  • Lead Commercial team event management - including budget, reservations and invites
  • Provide data to Total Rewards team for quarterly bonus and commission calculation


Requirements and skills
  • Proven success in cross functional projects
  • Knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages for analyzing datasets
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Adept at queries, report writing and presenting findings
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • High level planning & project management skills
  • The ability to find ways of solving or pre-empting problems
  • University Bachelor qualification is a requirement
  • Strong working knowledge of GSuite
  • PMP / PRINCE II certification is a plus
  • Yellow or Green Belt Lean qualification is a plus

Location: Remote United States

Pay:

The base compensation range for this position is $92,000 - $115,000 USD annually commensurate with experience. Actual compensation within that range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications, and applicable laws.
