Welcome to Whataburger Careers! The Regional Asset Protection Manager monitors all Asset Protection and Food Safety policies in the assigned regions. They investigate policy breaches, collaborate with internal and external security partners, and suggest remedial measures. Collaborates with restaurant operations, legal, and HR to conduct investigations in case of loss of company assets. Conducts audits and surveys to identify security issues. Reviews performance data to determine potential fraud or theft activities. Compiles crime statistics with the aid of external providers. Implements mitigation measures to reduce total risk in assigned units. Collaborates cross-regionally on asset protection training. Contributes to zone operational efficiency, reduction of cash overage, and minimizing shortages. Ensures compliance with state and federal laws. Key Skills Asset Protection Security Video Monitoring Systems Auditing Financial Sense Budgeting Preferred Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience required. 7+ years' experience in asset protection /safety training. 4610 S 48Th St Phoenix AZ 85040-8814
