Our dedicated AI lab is focused on pioneering AI-backed solutions that streamline processes, enhance productivity, and empower our team with cutting-edge tools. We are committed to not just leveraging AI technology but also ensuring our workforce is adept at harnessing its full potential.

CloseKnit runs a year-round internship program. The ideal candidate is someone who can work throughout the year 15-20 hours in the Spring/Fall and up to 35-40 hours in the summer.

Role Overview:

We are seeking an enthusiastic AI Lab Intern to join our dynamic team. This role is ideal for someone passionate about artificial intelligence, eager to apply their knowledge in a practical, impact-driven environment. The intern will play a crucial role in developing, testing, and deploying AI solutions tailored to solve real-world problems faced by information workers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the design and development of AI solutions that address specific challenges encountered by information workers.
  • Participate in the entire lifecycle of AI project development, including research, prototype development, testing, and deployment.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and feedback, ensuring that AI solutions are aligned with user needs and company objectives.
  • Contribute to the creation of training materials and workshops designed to educate employees on utilizing AI tools effectively.
  • Help creating training a training program to guide team members training in AI solutions.
  • Stay abreast of the latest AI trends and technologies, suggesting innovative ways to incorporate them into our solutions.
  • Document and report on research findings, development processes, and project outcomes.
Qualifications:
  • A rising Junior or Senior currently pursuing a Bachelors degree in Information Technology or a related field. 3.0 Min GPA Required.
  • Strong foundational knowledge in AI, machine learning algorithms, and data processing.
  • Familiarity with AI development tools and frameworks.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts to a non-technical audience.
  • Creative thinker with a keen interest in technology and innovation.

Salary Range: $18,720 - $26,000
