Resp & Qualifications PURPOSE: This position is accountable for increasing enrollment, converting to, and retaining Medicare business. Responsible for managing strategies that support all distribution channels to build market share in the CareFirst operating area for Over 65 Individual Medicare products including Medicare Supplemental plans and Medicare Advantage plans. The incumbent serves as a subject matter expert between CareFirst and principal contracted brokers and FMOs for marketing, sales, CMS guidance and enrollment related to products targeting the Consumer Government Programs market. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY: Position does not have direct reports but is expected to assist in guiding and mentoring less experienced staff. May lead a team of matrixed resources. QUALIFICATIONS: Education Level: Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing or related field OR in lieu of a Bachelor's degree, an additional 4 years of relevant work experience is required in addition to the required work experience. Experience: 3 years sales experience. Preferred Qualifications: 3 years sales experience in Medigap/Medicare and Medicare Advantage. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSAs)

Salary Range: $53,600 - $87,100 Travel Requirements: Estimate Amount: Significant travel required, including travel out of state. Must have a valid drivers license and transportation to travel throughout service area.
