Our team exists to drive and deliver on strategic enterprise learning programs to culture initiatives and leadership development experiences that enhance the Honeywell behaviors across the globe and support succession planning efforts to build a strong leadership pipeline. The Honeywell Employee Careers Learning and Development Team is looking for a Sr. Instructional Design Specialist to deliver on our mission to develop, deliver, and/or support employees grow in their current role while preparing for the next role. Our team develops and/or supports enterprise Honeywell acumen, function, and professional skills learning and development programs. We are looking for a team member for a versatile role responsible for designing, facilitating, and program managing scalable, global enterprise learning and development programs. The Senior Learning Specialist will be responsible for web-course instructional design; managing key partner relationships that may be more complex or involve multiple stakeholder groups. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Handles design and development of web-based course offerings and instructor-led programs. Facilitates instructor-led sessions to medium and large audiences. Assesses learning need and recommends persona-based learning strategy-plan while guiding sponsors through end-to-end development, implementation, and sustainability phases of the plan. Expertly applies adult learning theory and instructional design best practices. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS 5+ years of Instructional Design and instructor-led training experience 5+ years of professional work experience WE VALUE Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years of prior relevant experience Capable of designing or developing L1, L2, & L3 eCourses Experience using a Learning Management System (LMS) Experience with virtual classroom training platforms (Zoom, Microsoft Teams, etc.) Expertise at developing highly polished, Investor Relations-like content Microsoft Suite: PowerPoint; Excel; WORD, Teams. Experience developing eLearning content (Articulate Storyline 360, Articulate Rise, Adobe, Photoshop) Persuasive communication skills (spoken, written). Ability to build strong relationships with peers, technology partners, business leaders and executives. Proficient to expert with eLearning, video editing, audio editing, Microsoft suite, emerging technologies Ability to work in ambiguity and navigate in a highly matrixed environment.
