Position Summary: We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Physician Assistant. In this role, the successful candidate will provide care to patients in the department and in the subspecialties as needed. The Physician Assistant will follow established standards, procedures, and practices, and give specific patient care directions to nursing and other staff. Job Responsibilities:
Minimum Qualifications: To qualify you must have a Bachelors or Masters degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program. Currently Licensed as a Physician Assistant in the State of New York. BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP Provider (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) NALS per delineation of privileges DEA Certificate required. Cardiac Cath Lab Physician Assistants are required to have at least 1 year of interventional cardiology experience.. This position has an on-call requirement. Candidates must have on-call response time of 30 minutes or less. Required Licenses: Physician Assistant Lic-NYS, Ntl Com Cert Physician Asst Qualified candidates must be able to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialty, education, and hospital need.
