Position Summary:
We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Senior Manager - Marketing Strategy Lead, Events (brand experience).

In this role, the successful candidate will contribute to the strategy and development of innovative marketing initiatives tailored to diverse patient segments and healthcare professionals. This role will collaborate with other Communications & Marketing (C&M) teams and cross-functional NYULH stakeholders, ensuring alignment with the health system's mission to drive brand reputation and appointment volume.
Reporting directly to the Director, Head of Enterprise Marketing Strategy, this position will play a critical role in NYULHs overall strategic marketing efforts, including creating innovative programs to support events marketing strategies, providing a deep understanding of the profiles of different audiences attending events, and supporting the advancement of NYULHs enterprise objectives. This role will represent NYULH at local and regional events and may require travel to event sites during working hours.

Job Responsibilities:

Marketing Strategy Development:
      • Contribute to the development of strategic, research-based, and data-driven marketing events to reach physicians and general audiences
      • Conduct audience segmentation analyses to develop unique profiles that inform the design of effective marketing strategies for events
      • Support the day-to-day management of the master calendar across other Communications and Marketing (C&M) teams; partner with the Head of Enterprise Marketing Strategy to coordinate the sequencing and activation of events strategy, and identify synergies across campaigns
      • Represent the NYULH vision and brand by organizing, facilitating, and running in-person local and regional events
      • Participate in governance around campaign management and sequencing, ensuring internal departments adherence to established processes
      • Leverage performance metrics and outcomes from marketing campaigns to inform existing and future strategies
      • Stay up to date with marketing trends and healthcare best practices, adapting strategies to industry changes
      • Drive strategic innovations that will fuel the growth of NYULH and support the realization of institutional goals


Collaboration and Influence
    • Collaborate with internal marketing and communications teams to strategize and execute effective marketing campaigns for events to increase reputation and business objectives
    • Proactively coordinate with the Brand Ecosystem team to ensure all events and associated marketing campaigns adhere to brand-specific guidance, and strategies are aligned with the overall vision for NYULH
    • Support the Head of Enterprise Marketing Strategy (Director) in infusing data-driven insights into marketing strategy campaigns for events and assessing their effectiveness
    • Coordinate with the Advertising Lead on the execution of marketing campaigns for events requiring promotion via paid channels
    • Align events marketing plans with NYULH's strategic priorities, emphasizing patient-centered care and digital innovation
    • Support strategic market assessments, including analyzing market environments, competitive intelligence, and forecasting industry/market trends

Minimum Qualifications:
To qualify you must have a Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Management, Strategy, or related field
5+ years of experience in Marketing Strategy, specifically with developing and executing marketing strategies for events
Proven experience in healthcare marketing strategy and innovation
Proficiency in project management, communication tools, and data analysis
Strong interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration and ability to build strong relationships both internally and externally
Ability to communicate complex topics effectively to external audiences
Strong analytical skills, with the ability to apply and communicate data-driven insights
Understanding of branding and its use in event activations
Creative instincts and willingness to test-and-learn
Proven ability to work effectively in a highly-matrixed environment
Excellent verbal and written communications skills

Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in New York-specific Marketing, Management, Strategy, or related field
Bilingualism is an asset (Spanish/English)

NYU Langone Health provides a salary range to comply with the New York state Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $76,721.84 - $127,869.56 Annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialty, education, and hospital need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
