Job Overview The Senior Director, Customer Fulfillment Center oversees all aspects of leadership, engagement, strategic planning, and overall financial and operational performance of the goods-to-person customer fulfillment center operations. They develop short- and long-term plans to drive continuous improvement and ensure achievement of facility and organizational objectives. Additionally, they provide high-level leadership, direction, and coaching to the CFC leadership team to successfully and effectively accomplish operational goals and attain optimum performance levels. What You Will Do
Skills You Will Need Leadership: Proven ability to develop high-performing teams, foster a culture of engagement, inclusion, and community, and drive results through effective leadership. Ability to effectively lead Goods-to-Person and Pocket Sorter automation. Strategic Thinking: Strong strategic skills to develop short- and long-term plans for continuous improvement and achievement of organizational objectives. Communication and Collaboration: Excellent communication and collaboration skills to effectively interact with stakeholders across various departments and levels within the organization. Adaptability: Ability to adapt to changing priorities and demands. Team Development: Skill in managing and developing direct reports, fostering individual growth and performance excellence, and building effective teams. Financial Acumen: Strong financial skills and understanding of supply chain metrics to drive business results and make informed decisions. Relationship Building: Ability to establish trust and credibility with internal and external stakeholders, cultivating smooth working relationships and rapport. Problem-Solving: React quickly and appropriately to operational issues, follow up on unresolved matters promptly, and drive continuous process improvement. Customer Focus: Create a customer-focused environment where excellent service is provided to all customers, ensuring business decisions align with customer needs and expectations. Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and other relevant business software to effectively analyze data and communicate information. Industry Understanding: Goods-to-Person automation, business and intellectual competencies, including industry understanding of warehouse management, negotiation skills, strategic planning, staff development, and creativity in problem-solving.
