The summer internship offers hands-on experience in environmental compliance and sustainability projects within a corporate environment. The intern plays a vital role in the team, contributing new ideas and directly impacting business operations. Macy's interns engage in real-world projects, interact with senior leaders, and benefit from networking opportunities. This remote internship begins in June 2024. What You Will Do
Excellent written and verbal communication skills: Ability to effectively communicate ideas, findings, and recommendations. Analytical and problem-solving skills: Strong mathematical skills and the ability to analyze data to identify trends and propose solutions. Organizational and time management skills: Capability to independently prioritize tasks and manage workload to meet deadlines. Multitasking and collaboration: Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and collaborate effectively with various internal and external stakeholders. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel: Competency in using software tools for data analysis, reporting, and presentation. High aptitude and quick information processing: Ability to grasp complex concepts quickly and make informed decisions. Attention to detail: Thoroughness in reviewing documents, data, and reports to ensure accuracy and completeness. Who You Are
