Description and Requirements
Location: Las Vegas, NV (Various Unanticipated Worksites)
Responsibilities
- Develop and test applications based on business requirements and industry best practices.
- Design, develop, implement, and test software programs using various programming languages and tools for Test Plans, Test Cases, and Test Strategies within inter-application flows, including logical and physical architecture for software systems using JAVA and related technologies.
- Maintain and upgrade existing software and tools to the latest standards and changes.
- Identify technical risks and provide mitigation strategies within the application, develop technical specifications and plans, and provide tech talks to the team to adhere to the new standards and technologies.
- Automate manual work and deployment processes, as well as manage code review and merge request reviews.
- Translate user requirements into the design for new software or extensive software revisions, including creating high-level architectural specifications, while ensuring feasibility, functionality, and integration within existing systems and platforms.
- The position will be headquartered in Las Vegas, NV, with periodic travel/relocation required to various unanticipated project worksites throughout the United States.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related field, plus five (5) years' post-baccalaureate experience as a Tech Specialist or related role.
- Experience must include managing Telecom (OSS/BSS) implementation; IBM BPM/ BAW for design and development of OSS/BSS applications; Designing software solutions with eTom, UML; Test Automation framework using Selenium WebDriver, Test Asset, and QTP; Developing/managing SOAP/ REST API and integration with backend. The position will be headquartered in Las Vegas, NV, with periodic travel/relocation required to various unanticipated project worksites throughout the United States.
