Job Overview We are seeking students to join our 8-week full-time paid internship program, offering hands-on experience in all facets of content creation and production. Based at our Long Island City Photo and Content Studios, participants will work as Video Production Assistants under the guidance of the Director of Video Production. The program begins on June 3rd, 2024, with orientation for new hires on the same day. Interns will work a 4-day week for the duration of the program. Please note that housing and transportation are not included. The Video Production Intern has the opportunity to showcase creative expertise and technical skills while helping produce engaging videos that highlight the organization's industry leadership. They work alongside various teams in-studio and on location, contributing to storytelling through video and understanding its impact on the brand and company. What You Will Do
Skills You Will Need Creativity: Ability to generate innovative ideas and contribute to storytelling through video production. Technical Proficiency: Skills in filming, editing, and post-production processes to execute final content effectively. Collaboration: Capacity to work effectively with videographers, editors, and post-production teams to achieve project goals. Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills to actively participate in team meetings, brainstorming sessions, and other relevant discussions. Attention to Detail: Ability to pay close attention to details during filming, editing, and reviewing processes to ensure high-quality output. Time Management: Capacity to manage time efficiently and meet project deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Eagerness to Learn: Willingness to learn new techniques, technologies, and industry trends to enhance video production skills. Problem-Solving: Ability to identify and address challenges encountered during video production with creative and effective solutions. Who You Are
