Location: Medical Center Office Building (901 7th Ave) Department: Psychiatry Shift: First Shift (United States of America) Standard Weekly Hours: 40 Summary: The department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Health at Cook Children's Medical Center is seeking board certified/board eligible Child & Adolescent Psychiatrists to join our team! We have a well-established, outpatient and inpatient pediatric program which provides a full range of early intervention, rehabilitation, medical, and mental health services for children. Our interdisciplinary team is comprised of nine child & adolescent psychiatrists, child psychologists, advanced practice providers, developmental pediatricians, as well as speech, physical, and occupational therapists. The treatment philosophy of the program is a Collaborative Problem Solving model. Full time outpatient opportunities are available and offer a variety of clinical activities, including evaluation, ongoing treatment and follow-up, consultation, and education in a stimulating atmosphere of close collaboration with other disciplines in the care of the child. We will also have full-time and part-time opportunities in our upcoming Behavioral Health Assessment Center that will be housed next to the Emergency Department. Schedules are Monday-Friday 8:00 to 5:00 with shared on call responsibility. Cook Children's Hospital has been voted one of the top places to work.
