New Jersey Natural Gas (NJNG), a subsidiary of New Jersey Resources is seeking a program administrator for the SAVEGREEN Project to focus on contract-related activities related to the implementation of the NJNG's commercial energy efficiency programs. Track program project budgets, progress and spend to ensure accurate and timely reporting to management and regulators. Collaborate and organize with the commercial and Industrial (C&I) team to ensure individual and team performance goals are met.

Major Responsibilities:
  • Develop and manage program agreements for customers and contractors, in collaboration with procurement and legal departments.
  • Serve as a liaison with legal and purchasing departments and monitor where any pending agreements are in the approval process.
  • Coordinate the on-boarding processes of C&I program contractors.
  • Ensure the progression of commercial program projects conform with all terms and conditions outlined in the Customer, and Contractor Applications and Agreements. This includes the documentation of changes to costs and energy savings related to projects work scope.
  • Assist with contract closeout activities.
  • Support the C&I team members for their interactions with customers, engineering/auditing firms and contractors.
  • Provide timely project and prospective project progress and financial reporting.
  • Ensure contractors' invoices and payments are processed in a timely manner and contractor invoices comply with the individual Scope of Work(s). Collaborate with the technical and supervisory team members to confirm accuracy.
  • Track construction contractor invoicing for larger projects and coordinate the scheduling and execution of project stage payments with C&I supervisory staff.
  • Provide quarterly BPU and internal financial reporting.
  • Maintain detailed and organized files.
  • Provide administrative support for all related SAVEGREEN commercial projects and programs as necessary.


Position Specifications:
  • Bachelor's degree is preferred or the combined equivalent of education experience.
  • At least two years of experience working in an administrative role.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office is required. Experience with Oracle is strongly desired.
  • Strong organization and communication skills. Able to prioritize tasks maintaining a high level of productivity and efficiency.
