Position Summary: We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a per diem Mammography Technologist. In this role, the successful candidate is responsible for performing medically prescribed diagnostic mammographic and bone density procedures. Monitors and reviews the work of the staff, assist in the supervision of the technical and support staff, and facilitates patient flow through the Breast Imaging Center. Works under general direction. Job Responsibilities:
Minimum Qualifications: To qualify you must have a certificate from an accredited school of Radiologic Technology. New York State license to practice Diagnostic Radiology. Certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). Advanced Certification in Mammography. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Preferred Qualifications: Preferred Qualifications:College graduate. Two years experience in Mammographic and quality control procedures preferred. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialty, education, and hospital need.
