As a Regional Compliance Consultant, you will have the primary responsibility of supporting our central region field office colleagues with employee benefit compliance education and assistance, and work with clients as necessary to answer their benefits compliance questions and concerns. The successful candidate will be able to juggle priorities, understand federal regulations and legislation, communicate complex issues in easy to understand written documents and orally (telephone, Zoom, in-person once resumed) and work with the rest of the compliance team to create cutting edge compliance deliverables and education for both colleagues and clients. This role will service Alera Group's Northeast region - New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Rhode Island, Massachchusetts, Vermont, New Hampshire, Maine The consultant should reside within this general geographic area with the ability to travel to Alera Group offices within the region as needed.
