Job Overview

The Senior, HR Expense and Business Manager provides oversight for financial aspects related to HR Business operations. Responsibilities will include managing budgets, analyzing and processing expenses, recapping and reporting annual financial targets results. Additionally, the role will be the primary contact for HR's Expense Payables and liaison to Finance.

What You Will Do
  • Collaborate with senior executive budget owners to develop and oversee their respective annual financial plans.
  • Work closely with respective HR account owners, Finance, and Governance teams to create annual budgets that align with financial guidelines, utilizing zero-budget methodology.
  • Develop plan templates for Finance reporting.
  • Prepare Monthly ROF (Run Out Forecast), analyzing line-item details and forecasting for remaining months, ensuring alignment with the annual budget plan.
  • Create monthly reporting for account owners to assess current budget status and forecast expenditures; identify and/or recommend budget opportunities.
  • Collaborate with Finance to manage actual expenses trends to plan and adjustments as needed.
  • Fulfill ongoing and ad hoc requests for reports and research including prompt response to invoices, payments and new supplier setup.
  • Prepare correspondence, Power Point presentations, and other materials for internal and external stakeholders.
Skills You Will Need

Budget Development and Oversight: Ability to develop and oversee the annual Human Resources financial plan to ensure optimal resource utilization.

Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills for collaborating with senior executives, HR account owners, Finance, and Governance teams, as well as providing explanations for variances in expense reports.

Financial Planning and Analysis: Working knowledge of financial planning and analysis, including preparing data, charts, and graphs for analysis, and understanding project management principles.

Oracle EBS Knowledge: Familiarity with Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) for managing financial data and processes.

Interpersonal Skills: Strong interpersonal skills for effectively collaborating with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

Presentation Skills: Ability to present financial information and analysis effectively to budget owners, Finance partners, and senior executives.

Mathematical Proficiency: Above-average mathematical skills, including the ability to compute rates, ratios, percentages, and work with accounting concepts.

Microsoft Office Proficiency: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word and PowerPoint, with advanced skills in Excel, including pivot tables and advanced formulas.

Business Acumen: Displays solid business acumen and integrated thinking to understand the impact of financial decisions on business outcomes.

Project Management Skills: Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and meet deadlines effectively.

Organizational Skills: Strong organizational skills to manage various tasks, such as invoice processing, supplier set-up, and ticket distribution efficiently.
