Position Summary:
We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Associate Director, Dentistry.

In this role, the successful candidate an Associate Director of the AEGD program is a full time administrator whose primary role is to manage a cohort of residents, faculty and clinical training sites and ensure compliance by all entities with program requirements and Commission on Dental Accreditation (CODA) standards.

Job Responsibilities:
    • Accountable to the AEGD Program Director and Senior Associate Program Director regarding the management of their role and responsibilities.
    • Travel Routine travel to assigned clinical training sites for on-site meetings and reviews. Periodic travel to assigned venues including, but not limited to educational organization conferences, public health conferences, program-related meetings and conferences and resident and clinical training site recruitment meetings and conferences.
    • Actively participate in new resident and new clinical training site recruitment activities.
    • Quality Assurance Direct involvement and participation in quality improvement initiatives and projects related to program curriculum, processes and outcomes.
    • Familiarity with and management of all program-related documents and reporting platforms including, but not limited to resident employment, resident attendance, faculty onboarding, resident licensure, resident requirements, resident and program outcomes, resident certification, and GME-related and program-related policies. Oversight and monitoring of all program-related evaluations and data reporting. Orientation of new residents and faculty.
    • Conduct and manage formal, informal & routine meetings with residents, faculty and clinical training sites.
    • Serve as the direct point of contact for assigned residents, faculty and clinical training sites and manage communication among parties including the use of phone, text, email and online communication platforms.
    • Management of CODA site visits at assigned clinical training sites.
    • Management of mock site visits in preparation for CODA site visits at assigned clinical training sites.
    • Accountable for residents, faculty and clinical training sites compliance with Graduate Medical Education (GME) and AEGD policies and requirements

Minimum Qualifications:
  • To qualify you must have a DDS/DMD licensed or license eligible in the US
  • 5+ years of practice experience.

    Preferred Licenses: Provider Credential Specialist

Preferred Qualifications:
Completion of an accredited AEGD or GPR Residency program

NYU Langone Health provides a salary range to comply with the New York state Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $77,454.00 - $129,090.00 Annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialty, education, and hospital need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
