Job Functions, Duties, Responsibilities and Position Qualifications:

Position: Regional Sales Manager

Position Summary: The Regional Sales Manager is tasked with developing a strategic growth plan in collaboration with the Regional Manager and Vice President. They are responsible for managing the Sales personnel and training and supporting them to ensure their success. These positions work very closely with internal operations to insure the highest quality of service provided to each client. They participate in weekly meetings to ensure the Sales personnel are meeting quota and maintaining their existing portfolio of business. The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for the Sales personnel and identifying appropriate and profitable prospective clients.

Principle Responsibilities:

  • Development and achievement of regional growth to plan.
  • Ensure Sales personnel achieve quota with appropriate new clients.
  • Maintain region's existing base of business.
  • Comply with all policies and procedures of the company.
  • Follow up on a timely basis with all client and employee requests.
  • Perform financial assessments of existing and new accounts.
  • In-Service Sales personnel on new tests.
  • Communicate effectively and professionally with internal and external employees.

Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Management and or Marketing preferred.

Experience: 3 to 5 years' previous outside medical sales management experience strongly preferred. 5 to 10 years in the medical field.

Skills: The ability to communicate effectively both orally and written. All Regional Sales Managers must possess the skill set to negotiate.
