Resp & Qualifications We are looking for an experienced professional to work remotely from within the greater Baltimore metropolitan area. The incumbent will be expected to come into a CareFirst location periodically for meetings, training and/or other business related activities. PURPOSE: The MCG Product Owner is a unique hybrid role combining hands-on configuration, maintenance, and support of MCG Cite Auto Auth and WebQI with the subject matter expertise to drive new initiatives and enhancements that support efficient and effective utilization management decisions. This individual will be the "one-person army" and the go-to person for the organization for any MCG or CareWebQI related questions, responsible for the day-to-day management of these products, ensuring their optimal functionality and alignment with evolving business needs, with a particular focus on cost of care considerations. The MCG Product Owner will also play a key role in the development and implementation of cost care-related expansion projects, leveraging their in-depth knowledge of the MCG product suite. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Position does not have direct reports but is expected to assist in guiding and mentoring less experienced staff. May lead a team of matrixed resources. QUALIFICATIONS: Education Level: Bachelor's Degree in Product Management, Engineering, Information Technology or related field OR in lieu of a Bachelor's degree, an additional 4 years of relevant work experience is required in addition to the required work experience.
