Senior Scientist, Translational Proteomics Gaithersburg, MD Join our dedicated Oncology team at AstraZeneca, where we are driven by our ambition to eliminate cancer as a cause of death. We are seeking an innovative scientist to fill a unique hybrid role that combines laboratory expertise in mass spectrometry proteomics with advanced skills in data science. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the discovery and development of novel therapeutics through the application of cutting-edge clinical proteomics. Accountabilities: As a Senior Scientist, you will lead design, implementation, and management of proteomics databases to organize multiple datasets derived from patient samples and clinical trials. You will serve as the primary liaison between data science teams across AZ to facilitate on-going bioinformatics collaborations with Translational Proteomics. You will also be responsible for developing, optimizing, and implementing harmonized data analysis methods and visualization of different types of data within the Translational Proteomics group for biological and clinical insight.
