Genesys is significantly transforming finance and accounting operations to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and effectiveness. We are seeking adynamicSenior Manager to lead the organization in this journey.

The Senior Manager, Revenue Systems Transformation, will oversee the transformation of revenue accounting systems, automation of revenue processes, and ensuringalignmentwith technical policy and operationalstrategy. This role requires a deepunderstandingof revenue recognitionprinciples, accounting systems implementation/integration,project management, andchange management. Theideal candidatewill beconfidentinengagingwith technology partners and other counterparts to enhance the overall effectiveness of the revenue accounting systems.

Competencies & KeyResponsibilities:

Leadership
  • Lead implementation of new revenue accounting systems/sub-systems and derive the best fit within the overall systems landscape (Zuora Revenue (RevPro), Zuora Billing,Salesforce, Workday, and Klarity).
  • Lead initiatives to resolve existing system/process issues.
  • Implement a systems assurance andrisk managementapproach towards new and existing infrastructure.
  • Collaboratewith senior stakeholders for implementation of organizational goals and targets.
  • Managethe performance and development of a small Team.

Technology and Automation
  • Zuora systems expertise,manageSystem Upgrades,rationalizeday-to-day user queries, and resolve system issues on an ad-hoc basis.
  • Contributetowards the adoption of Workday as the ERP system and overallalignmentwith revenue systems and processes.
  • Demonstrateunderstandingof the Klaritytooland other AI-enabledtoolsto improve effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Recommend new systems or enhancements to existing systems &supportuser adoption.
  • Evaluate and implement technologysolutionsto automate revenue accounting processes.

Continuous Improvement
  • Developandimplementa comprehensiveprogramfor system and process improvements.
  • Collaboratewith vendors and technology teams on System Upgrades and unlocking new features.
  • Collaboratewithcross-functionalteams to improve system effectiveness.

Project Management
  • Manageand report on the status and progress of system implementation and upgrade runs.
  • Coordinate withcross-functionalteams, including IT, Accounting, and OrderManagement
  • Monitor project performance and report on progress/ escalate issues to seniorstakeholders.

Change Management
  • Developandimplementchange managementplans to facilitate the adoption of new processes and systems.
  • Provide training andsupportto accounting teams.

Month-endsupport& Ad-hoc projects
  • Work closely with the US-based accounting teams tosupportZuora system behavior queries/troubleshooting during US working hours.
  • Engagewith IT and/or India based Data team for issue resolution on an ad-hoc basis.
  • Oversee integration checks between Zuora Revenue and ERP to ensure accurate and complete GL impact.
  • Facilitateandcontributetowards Special Projects as and when necessary.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in relevant area of expertise
  • CPA, MBA or equivalent (desirable)
  • Minimum of 8years'relevant work experience with preferably a fewyearsat a Big 4 or similar Consulting Firm or Large Public Co.
  • Goodunderstandingof ASC 606principles
  • Zuora Revenue/RevPro Implementation experience in a techno-functional capacity (essential)
  • Zuora Billing Implementation experience (essential)
  • ERP implementation experience- preferably Workday (desirable)
  • Working knowledge ofSalesforce(essential)
  • Thoroughworking knowledge of Tableau Prep or similar ETLinstruments(essential)
  • Experience in deploying AI-driveninstruments(desirable)
  • Other Finance Transformation Experience such as SSC set-up & close timelinerationalization(desirable)
  • SaaS/tech experience (desirable)
  • Experience of working with international teams and reporting to a remote manager
  • Deepanalyticalskills andattention to detail
  • Excellentcommunication skills, both written and verbal
  • Excellentmulti-tasking skills andflexibilityto switch from one project to the next
  • Highlycollaborativewith the ability to effectivelymanagecross-functionalprojects

Compensation:

This role has a market-competitive salary with an anticipated base compensation range listed below. Actual salaries will vary depending on a candidate's experience, qualifications, skills, and location. This role might also be eligible for a commission or performance-based bonus opportunities.

$109,550.00 - $214,950.00
