Introduction to Role: Join our dedicated Oncology unit at AstraZeneca, where we are redefining the cancer-treatment paradigm with the bold ambition to eliminate cancer as a cause of death. As the Director of Medical Diagnostics - Oncology, you will ensure timely, high-quality input into development and lifecycle plans, supporting efficient companion diagnostics/testing solutions to enable efficient treatment throughout the patient journey. This role is within US Medical Affairs supporting the Enhertu Oncology Franchise. Accountabilities: As part of your role, you will develop, evaluate, and deliver the US Enhertu diagnostic strategy for current and future oncology products. You will generate diagnostics-related insight to craft US input into the development and regulatory approach for the breast portfolio. You will also monitor the scientific and medical landscape and continue to optimize plans for diagnostic-related needs. Your role will involve ensuring in-market companion diagnostics/testing excellence for all product launches, including market readiness evaluation to inform go/no-go decisions. The annual base pay (or hourly rate of compensation) for this position ranges from $191,584 to $287,376 [TAq Partner will express compensation range as 80% - 120% of the role's MRP, either as annual base pay or as the hourly rate (annual base pay divided by 2080 hours)]. Hourly and salaried non-exempt employees will also be paid overtime pay when working qualifying overtime hours. Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. In addition, our positions offer a short-term incentive bonus opportunity; eligibility to participate in our equity-based long-term incentive program (salaried roles), to receive a retirement contribution (hourly roles), and commission payment eligibility (sales roles).
