Honeywell Connected Industrial is looking for an APC Junior Engineer to support our Connected Industrial business.

As an APC Junior Engineer here at Honeywell, you will be responsible for supporting the design, implementation, and maintenance of Advanced Process Control (APC) systems for our clients. You will work closely with a team of engineers to develop and optimize control strategies, troubleshoot system issues, and provide technical support to our customers. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the field of process control and automation.

You will be part of a n accomplished team of APC Consultants and Sr. Engineers with 20+ years of experience implementing APC projects. Y ou'll work out of our Houston, Texas location on a hybrid work schedule.

In this role, you will impact the efficiency and productivity of our client's operations by implementing advanced control strategies and optimizing process performance. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for improvement and develop innovative solutions to enhance our clients' manufacturing processes.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support the design, implementation, and maintenance of APC systems

  • Develop and optimize control strategies to improve process performance

  • Troubleshoot system issues and provide technical support to customers

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for improvement

  • Assist in the development of innovative solutions to enhance manufacturing processes

YOU MUST HAVE

Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as the sciences, technology, engineering or mathematics
Strong knowledge of process control systems and strategies
Minimum of 3 years hands-on experience configuring, tuning & maintaining regulatory control strategies in Distributed Control Systems (DCS)
Minimum of 2 years implementing Advanced Process Control (APC) solutions
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
