CLOSING DATE/TIME FOR RECEIPT OF OFFERS: August 4, 2024 before and/or at 11:59 p.m. (Guatemala Time) This is an amendment to the original solicitation. Previously-submitted applications will be considered and do not have to be re-submitted. The deadline for submission has been extended due to the issuance of this amendment. 4. POINT OF CONTACT: GuatemalaVacancies@usaid.gov 5. POSITION TITLE: Senior Development Outreach and Communication Director (GS-15) 6. MARKET VALUE: $123,041 - $159,950 equivalent to GS-15 Salary to be paid within this grade will depend on experience, qualifications, and salary history. The standard compensation package also includes a contribution for life and health insurance and a contribution to FICA. If the selected candidate qualifies as an off-shore hire under USAID regulations, the employee will additionally receive post differential approved for Guatemala, housing, international travel, shipment benefits, and other applicable allowances. 7. PLACE OF PERFORMANCE: USAID/Guatemala (overseas-based position). Relocation expenses will not be reimbursed for U.S.-based positions. Overseas USPSCs may be authorized to telework or remote work only from a location within the country of performance, in accordance with Mission policy. Telework or remote work from outside the country of performance may only be authorized in certain situations in accordance with the terms and conditions of the contract. 8. PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE: To start as soon as possible for a period of two (2) years plus three possible extensions of one year each depending on the need for continuation of such services, availability of funds, satisfactory performance, and the needs of the USAID Mission.
