WHO is Sound Generations?
We are a comprehensive non-profit organization that serves older adults and people with disabilities in King County. Our mission is to partner with older adults to provide accessible and inclusive services so they can age their way.
We are currently seeking a Mission Engagement Associate to join our Marketing and Philanthropy team in Seattle, WA.
What will YOU do?
The Mission Engagement Associate oversees workplace giving. This includes holiday workplace giving, third-party events, and in-kind giving. The scope of work includes community outreach, advertisement, event support, and donor portfolio management.
Pay Rate: $29.38 per hour.
Work Schedule: Monday Through Friday, 32 hours per week.

Responsibilities:
• Develop and manage cost-effective fund-raising strategies for workplace giving and campaign budget. Maximize net yield in relation to development expenses.
• Manage impact giving profile ensuring it's current on all workplace giving portal sites.
• Coordinate outreach and public speaking engagement opportunities.
• Lead holiday workplace giving campaigns. Partner with department and community partner sites to ensure timely distribution of holiday gifts.
• Research, cultivate, solicitate, and provide stewardship to a portfolio of 75-100 workplace giving, low-level, and online donors to develop and build sustainable relationships.
• Conduct prospect research and evaluate brand alignment to grow our Positive Aging Newsletter advertisement partnerships.
• Create thank you projects and acknowledgements to enhance stewardship of key workplace giving and corporate partners.
• Collaborate with the Mission Engagement Manager and others on establishing and growing event and workplace giving opportunities.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and related experience.
• Two (2) years' experience in fundraising and/or project management.
