Position Summary: We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Research Scientist. We are seeking a candidate to lead the Research Core of the PlayReadVIP National Center at NYU Grossman School of Medicine (PI Alan Mendelsohn, MD). The Research Scientist will design and lead studies and evaluation related to PlayReadVIP, related/integrated models, and child development and parenting. PlayReadVIP is an NIH/NICHD-funded program designed prevent early disparities, using video-feedback in health care and the community to support family strengths (www.playreadvip.org). This role provides an opportunity to make major contributions to science with population impact as PlayReadVIP expands nationally. Job Responsibilities: Research and Science

Minimum Qualifications: To qualify you must have a PhD or equivalent in developmental psychology, education, medicine, public health, or related; Strong background in early child development; 2+ years management experience. Very strong independent writing skills, written and spoken communication skills, and data analytic skills required. NYU Langone Health provides a salary range to comply with the New York state Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $60,000.00 - $100,000.00 Annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialty, education, and hospital need.
