Job Overview

The Senior, Human Resources Business Partner provides support for all HR functions at the local facility. The HRBP will oversee the following functional areas, including but not limited to colleague relations, colleague engagement, supporting the talent strategy, and retention. The HRBP will help ensure alignment between the business operations and HR strategy, practices, and objectives. The HRBP provides consulting and coaching to departmental supervisors and managers in order to support the business' vision, mission, and overall objectives. Also, responsible performing other duties as necessary.

Essential Functions

Talent Development
  • Support colleague strategies to attract, engage and retain a strong and diverse talent workforce.
  • Work closely with Facility Leader and Director, HRBP to identify talent needs, risks and gaps.
  • Actively participate in talent review meetings.
  • Support the implementation of talent development strategies. Drives or coordinates the delivery of existing people leader development programs to close gaps and build bench strength.
  • Build and maintain excellent relationships with talent acquisition, staffing partners to ensure hourly and professional level headcount plans are met.
  • Monitor and review compliance training reports, survey results, headcount, turnover and diversity reporting.
Culture
  • Promote company values to guide decision making and drive thoughtful and effective change management in a fast-paced environment.
  • Use the available data (e.g., pulse survey, turnover results) and observations to identify and mitigate potential issues.
  • Promote an environment of diversity and inclusion through diversity training, diversity representation, community involvement and employee resource groups.
  • Support and help implement change management initiatives. Be a trusted advisor to the leadership team.
  • Support preventative labor strategies to ensure a direct and meaningful relationship with our colleagues
People Leader Support
  • Support and ensure execution of leadership programs related to culture, recognition, and total rewards to maximize colleague engagement.
  • Monitors progress against metrics and milestones, informing leaders as appropriate and making recommendations as needed.
  • Respond to colleague and people leader concerns in a prompt manner, while taking appropriate partners
  • Execute an efficient and consistent process for weekly communication to People Leaders and HR Business partner
Other
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Competencies
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • We encourage candidates with either a bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in a related field to apply
  • 5+ years of direct experience.
  • Practices open and continuous communication, values keeping others informed, effectively presenting information in a clear, concise manner.
  • Excellent leadership, facilitation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work across functional lines and at many levels.
  • Ability to think creatively, strategically, and technically.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule based on department and Company needs.
  • Knowledge of MS Office computer programs are required.

Essential Physical Requirements
  • This position involves extended periods of sitting and the extensive use of computer and the office equipment.
  • May involve stooping, kneeling, or crouching.
  • Involves close vision, color vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment.
