Position Summary

The School of Science, Technology, and Education is looking for part-time faculty who are able to teach courses in the Engineering Department. Candidate must be able to teach in a face-to-face as well as online capacity.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

Responsibilities include: assessing student progress in meeting the learning objectives through formal and informal assessment, meeting required deadlines for submitting grades, attendance, and other information, as requested, and adhering to safety procedures and departmental standards.

Required Qualifications:

A Master's degree in Automated Systems, Electro-Mechanical Technology, Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, Robotics Technology is mandatory.

Strong oral communication skills, professional attitude and desire to help others is a must.

Program curriculum includes PLCs, Pneumatics/Hydraulics, Mechanical Systems, Robotics, Solidworks/AutoCad and AC/DC theory. Classes are very hands on and use industrial-grade equipment such as FESTO trainers, Allen Bradley and Siemens PLCs, Arduino microcontrollers, VEX systems, and LAB volt motor trainers. The program has been in place since 2013, so course objectives have been established.
