Overview

We are seeking a skilled Java Automation Engineer to join our talented IT operations team. The ideal candidate will be proficient in Java programming with a strong background in automating processes, scripting, and enhancing operational efficiencies. You will play a crucial role in automating various tasks including patching, monitoring applications, and deployments.

Role
- Design and implement automated frameworks that streamline operations and
enhance system reliability.
- Develop self-healing mechanisms and automated diagnostics for efficient
problem resolution in applications.
- Collaborate closely with development and operations teams to integrate
automation into continuous integration and delivery pipelines.
- Create monitoring solutions that proactively detect and resolve issues, ensuring
high availability and optimal performance of systems.
- Automate deployment processes to improve operational efficiency and minimize
downtime during releases.
- Evaluate existing systems and processes, identifying opportunities for
automation and resilience improvements.

All About You
- Corporate experience in Java development with a focus on automation and
reliability.
- Proficiency in scripting and automation tools.
- Hands-on experience with cloud-based systems and relevant automation
technologies.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and their integration with automated processes.
- Experience with Agile methodologies and techniques to enhance system
resilience.

In line with Mastercard's total compensation philosophy and assuming that the job will be performed in the US, the successful candidate will be offered a competitive base salary based on location, experience and other qualifications for the role and may be eligible for an annual bonus or commissions depending on the role.
