Overview We are seeking a skilled Java Automation Engineer to join our talented IT operations team. The ideal candidate will be proficient in Java programming with a strong background in automating processes, scripting, and enhancing operational efficiencies. You will play a crucial role in automating various tasks including patching, monitoring applications, and deployments. Role: • Develop and maintain Java-based automation frameworks to streamline operations and enhance productivity. • Design, implement, and execute automated scripts for system provisioning, patching, and configuration management. • Collaborate closely with development and operations teams to integrate automated testing into continuous integration pipelines. • Create monitoring solutions to proactively detect and resolve issues, ensuring high availability and performance of applications. • Automate deployment processes to improve efficiency and minimize downtime during software releases. • Evaluate existing systems and processes, identifying opportunities for automation and optimization. All About You: • Corporate experience in Java development with a focus on automation. • Proficiency with scripting. • Hands-on experience with automation tools like Selenium, JUnit, or TestNG. • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines. • Experience with Agile methodologies and Agile automation techniques.
