Job Summary

This role is responsible for supporting all activities of the new store construction and remodel program. The Construction Coordinator will work with the Vice President of Construction, Director of Construction and Construction Managers to help execute the company's expansion strategy and maintain the company's high standards for the guest experience in our existing portfolio of properties.

Responsibilities
  • Document management
    • Project folder management on server
    • Obtain deliverables from due diligence surveys
    • Provide As‐Built plans to Real Estate Designers
    • Maintain project drawings on server and file sharing site
    • Provide required documentation to Landlord (i.e. building permit, certificates of insurances)
    • Obtain GC payment and performance bonds and save on server
    • Track and verify lien waivers
  • Receive and process invoices and upload to Concur
  • Maintain project information in Smartsheet
  • Coordinate national signage program
    • Bid exterior signage
    • Create sign vendor bid comparison spreadsheet
    • Coordinate sign drawings with sign vendor
    • Submit BDF exec‐approved sign drawings to Landlord for approval
    • Obtain Landlord approval for exterior signage
    • Coordinate sign permits and or variances with sign vendor
  • Coordinate transfer of utility accounts with Landlord, Utility Company, and 3rd Party Utility Billing Partner
  • Provide required documentation and coordinate utility rebates with Third Party partner
  • Compile necessary documents and submit tenant allowance request(s) to Landlord
  • Coordinate national account orders (i.e. flooring, lighting, doors, frames, hardware, HVAC equipment, interior signage, EMS (Energy Management Systems), etc.)
  • Coordinate BDF supplied equipment and accessories orders with Purchasing Department
  • Coordinate new insurance with insurance provider
  • Coordinate interior signage installation with BDF Construction Manager and sign vendor
  • Notify Lease Admin of opening date so they can document
  • Assist with the collection and data entry of historical costs

Required Qualifications
  • Familiarity with reading construction drawings
  • Extensive knowledge of Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Schedule management in Microsoft Project or similar project management program
  • Construction quantity takeoffs
  • Clear communication skills, both written and spoken
  • AutoCAD experience preferred
  • Smartsheet
  • Bluebeam
  • Adobe Acrobat
  • 4‐year college degree
  • 2 years similar experience

This will be an office‐based role. Typical office physical activities (sitting for extended periods of time, typing, talking on the phone, etc.) will be required.

Expected Base Pay Not Including Potential Commissions, Incentive, Bonus, etc. Opportunities:
$71,000 - $88,000
