Brief Description

Develops outreach programs, coordinates social media accounts to improve the reach and engagement of the office. Conducts research on a target audience, develops key performance indicators, and designs social media campaigns and strategies. Provides information to citizens regarding the courts, protecting their rights and specialty court programs.

Detailed Description

Develops outreach programs to serve people in the communities and schedules regular outreach opportunities; researches the preferences of the target audience to discover current trends that may be applicable; executes a results-driven community strategy; solicits ideas from the community and develops program goals.Assists in the creating and editing of written, video, and photo content; monitors social media channels for indigent defense, social justice, and community trends.Reviews analytics and creates reports on key metrics.Attends events and produces live social media content.Collaborates with office administration team to create a community events calendar.Develops and maintains external relationships with individuals, businesses, and community-based organizations that support community-based outreach efforts.Assists Director with coordinating and marketing community events.Performs other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

Education and experience equivalent to a Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Marketing or a job related field of study. Three (3) years of work related experience. Skilled in the use of standard software applications. Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing, and establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, departments and the general public. Must pass an extensive background investigation.Standard office environment. Additional Details

This position is located in the Frank Crowley Courts Building, 133 N. Riverfront Blvd., Dallas, Texas 75207. Office hours are from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., but some work may be required off site and outside these hours. Spanish speaking preferred.An extensive pre-employment background investigation will be conducted on all applicants who have been offered a position with Dallas County.
