Brief Description Performs a variety of complex law library support tasks for managers, supervisors, judges, and county departments which may include: providing complex reference service, filing, preparing and processing documents and/or records, researching and resolving complex problems/issues, balance accounts, deliver books to other departments and assist with print and electronic resources.Management Scope: May act as group/team lead under a manager or supervisor. Detailed Description Provides specialized support with subject matter reference service in person, via email, or by telephone to judges, attorneys, and the general public.Conducts research to stay abreast of changes in laws, policies and procedures that impact the law library.Utilize department-specific and county-wide specialized and general computer systems for data collection, balancing accounts, processing payments, inventories, reports, and patron assisted training.Compiles and analyzes data to respond to inquiries, problems, and/or resolve discrepancies.Checks in, shelves, processes, and prepares library materials for library and other departments.May assist supervisor in training staff and performing quality control duties to ensure compliance with policies and procedures.Performs other duties as assigned. Job Requirements Education, Experience and Training:Education and experience equivalent to an Associate's degree from an accredited college or university in Business Administration or in a job related field of study. One (1) year of work related experience. Special Requirements/Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:Skilled in the use of standard software applications. Ability to effectively communicate, both verbally and in writing, and establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, departments and the general public.Physical/Environmental Requirements:Standard office environment. May require prolonged sitting, standing, walking, and the ability to lift and carry files, boxes, and other materials up to 25 lbs., unassisted.
