Job Summary:
Delivers curriculum to employees across the organization designed to provide the skills and foundation for a successful career. Work with various departments and teams within the organization to deliver effective training programs, ensuring training experiences are consistent with company wide policies, procedures, and strategies. Collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure that the training content is accurate, relevant and effective. Responsible for creating a positive and effective learning environment that enables learners to achieve their goals and enhance their skills and knowledge while delivering org value.
Job Responsibilities:- Responsible for designing, preparing and maintaining effective learning activities and materials that cater to the needs and goals of the learners. Contributes to the development of new training material by providing insights and sharing lessons learned.
- Collaborates with subject matter experts and instructional designers to regularly update content ensuring materials and training delivery reflects current organizational processes and resource capabilities.
- Collaborates with managers and business owners to identify training needs at a particular location. Responsible for bringing the need to Training Manager's attention and implementing the training programs to improve daily operations and assist with onboarding of new initiatives.
- Maintains an organized and supportive learning environment that encourages participation and engagement from learners while creating an environment that demonstrates a passion for learning and contributes to overall training team effectiveness.
- Delivers instruction that is clear, concise, and engaging to help learners grasp the concepts being taught. Provides support to team members, after training has been completed, in the form of coaching and mentoring.
- Assess the learners' progress and provide feedback to help them improve their performance and achieve their learning objectives. Analyze data and evaluate the effectiveness of the overall training program, measuring post training performance gaps to identify opportunities for continuous improvement with an emphasis on achieving business results.
- Work collaboratively with other business SMEs or trainers to ensure a coordinated and effective learning experience for learners.
- Continuously update training knowledge and skills by participating in training and development opportunities to enhance their effectiveness as a facilitator of learning.
- Assists Training Manager with maintaining a master training schedule that includes all schedules for new hires, nesting, and recurrent and special training.

Basic Qualifications
- High School/ GED and at least 2 years (BA is PQ only) of experience in training development, delivery and assessment.
- Experience using time management skills such as prioritizing/organizing and tracking details and meeting deadlines of multiple projects with varying completion dates.
- Experience in providing training and developing process documentation/user manuals. Knowledge of training program design and development methodologies.
- Experience with strong presentation and facilitation skills in person and virtual settings inclusive of managing participants, time, and content to deliver an effective experience.
- Experience applying knowledge of principles of adult learning to training delivery. High level of engagement and a facilitator mindset to deliver an engaging, high impact cohort/classroom experience.
- Willing to travel up to/at least 25% of the time for business purposes (within state and out of state).
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Training, Education, Organizational Development, or related area of study
- Project Management experience.
- Intermediate level skill in Microsoft Word (for example: inserting headers, page breaks, page numbers and tables and/or adjusting table columns).
- Intermediate level skill in Microsoft PowerPoint (for example: applying a theme, formatting character spacing, inserting a picture, changing slide layout and theme colors, adding transitions, customizing slide numbers, changing chart style and/or formatting font).
- Proficiency with training software.
