Job Summary
Responsible for creating and developing operational analytic support while monitoring ongoing support of long and short term pharmacy inventory projects. Monitor's RX inventory and assists in inventory procurement through vendor relationships. Creates standard operating procedures to be used by WAG pharmacies and assists in development of inventory training to the stores.
Job Responsibilities- Collaborates with Pharmaceutical Distributor and WAG Pharmacy Operations to troubleshoot and resolve any store pharmacy inventory issues. Includes identifying stores that are trending negatively and proactively resolving inventory problems.
- Develops methods, processes, and reports to monitor and sustain results related to Rx Purchasing and Supply Chain. Generates store inventory reports in order to address and identify system needs and enhancements.
- Create standard operating procedures for Distributor/WAG Rx inventory processes. Assist in designing and implementing RX inventory management strategies in conjunction with vendor managed inventory programs.
- Assists in inventory procurement through vendor relationships. (ie. Specialty RX items, OTC items, new/generic drug launches, flu vaccines). Monitor RX inventory levels and program efficiencies for WAG Health and Wellness business units.
- Collaborates with stores on replacing and returning damaged product.
- Participates in P2P audit activities performed in conjunction with Data Integrity team, including comparison of purchases/invoice MOM, comparison of IOH MOM, comparison of sales MOM.
- Monitors and adjusts ordering daily alerts with RxI ordering issues, store tote audits/receiving errors and return logic to support RxA/RxI targets.

Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or High School Diploma/GED and at least 3 years of experience analyzing and reporting data.
- Experience working in Pharmacy Operations.
- Experience with analyzing and reporting data in order to identify issues, trends, or exceptions to drive improvement of results and find solutions.
- Experience in identifying operational issues, recommending, and implementing strategies to resolve problems.
- Experience using time management skills such as prioritizing/organizing and tracking details and meeting deadlines of multiple projects with varying completion dates.
- Intermediate level skill in Microsoft Suite (MS Excel, MS Word and MS PowerPoint).
- Willing to travel up to 5% of the time for business purposes (within state and out of state).
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience using Walgreen proprietary systems (e.g., AS400, SIMS, POS, IC+)
- Basic level skill in SQL (for example: build queries, add, modify, and delete data; create and maintain tables, query and/or update databases using SQL statements)
