Job Summary :
The Planogram Development Analyst acts as the liaison between key business partners and stores by translating the Buyer's strategic vision into cluster or store specific planograms that aligns with both company strategies as well as space requirements that meet sales and productivity goals. This person is responsible for maximizing productivity utilizing key product/category metrics that provides clear and precise direction to stores on the implementation of planograms. The Planogram Development Space Planner is responsible for the development, maintenance and timely publication of customer centric resets using Space Planning software (Blue Yonder Space Planning).
Job Responsibilities :- Collaborates with other Retail Products departments to execute merchandising strategies that are aligned with Company goals and are focused on delivering value to the customer.
- Communicates with and supports the stores regarding merchandising programs and policies. Works with the field to ensure execution of merchandising programs that drive return and enhance the customer experience.
- Performs and coordinates day-to-day activities to meet departmental objectives. Develops mastery in one area of specialization and generalist knowledge of a broader functional area.
- Collaborates and communicates with other areas of Retail Products, vendors, suppliers, contractors, and internal, cross-functional project teams.
- Works with analytical tools to deliver data analysis to develop, enhance and maintain merchandising programs to the stores.
- Contributes to, participates in, and supports continuous improvements and advancement efforts for merchandising programs.
- Develops an understanding of the systems, tools and processes used in the Merchandising organization.
- Utilizes this knowledge to develop and execute merchandising programs to the stores.
- Develops an understanding of store KPI and targeted merchandising strategies that will drive store results.
- Creates deep dive analysis to study key area trends.
- Participates in the development of new programs and enhances current programs to meet performance objectives.
- Evaluates key area trends and develops/implements innovative programs/improvements.
- Runs ad-hoc analyses to identify and recommend innovative options to drive business strategy.

Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree OR a High School Diploma/GED and at least 3 years of experience in two or more of the following: retail, procurement/purchasing, merchandising, vendor relations, or retail marketing.
- Experience using time management skills such as prioritizing/organizing and tracking details and meeting deadlines of multiple projects with varying completion dates.
- Intermediate level skill in Microsoft Excel (for example: using SUM function, setting borders, setting column width, inserting charts, using text wrap, sorting, setting headers and footers and/or print scaling).
- Intermediate level skill in Microsoft Word (for example: inserting headers, page breaks, page numbers and tables and/or adjusting table columns)
- Intermediate level skill in Microsoft PowerPoint (for example: applying a theme, formatting character spacing, inserting a picture, changing slide layout and theme colors, adding transitions, customizing slide numbers, changing chart style and/or formatting font).
- Willing to travel up to 10% of the time for business purposes (within state and out of state).
Preferred Qualifications - 2 years of experience in one or more of the following: retail, procurement/purchasing, merchandising, vendor relations, or retail marketing.
- Retail experience.
