Job Summary:

Responsible for the day-to-day monitoring of operational process, referral monitoring, and contract compliance for their specific assigned Biopharmaceutical contract(s). The Pharma Operations Program Manager will address all inquiries that are brought forward from our Pharma Partners for their specific programs as well as provide support to our internal trade team as needed. In addition, the Pharma Operations Program Manager will attend and provide support for Manufacturer Quarterly Business Reviews (QBR's) for their assigned program(s).

Job Responsibilities:
  • Performs as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) on all operational processes for the Biopharmaceutical Trade Contracts that he/she will support; the incumbent will display a full knowledge of the
    contract and operational processes that are required to remain compliant.
  • Prioritizes and resolves all operational trade inquiries relating to referral/order status, prior authorization follow up and physician clinic question with timely responses.
  • Interprets HIPAA authorization for understanding of what information can be shared.
  • Responsible for oversight of all referrals/orders related to the Biopharmaceutical contracts that the team oversees from an operational perspective.
  • Collaborates effectively with internal operations teams, Pharma Service Delivery teams, Implementation Team, Pharma Program team, the Data team, and all external partners, such as Pharmaceutical Manufacturers.
  • Participates and actively engages in all contract reviews, SOW (statement of work), and amendments as they relate to the Biopharmaceutical Manufacturer.
  • Performs internal ARxWP auditing Pharma Ops Program Manager job functions to include; Ensuring that data and audit findings are delivered to leadership or the Trade Team in a clear, concise layout.
  • Other responsibilities as judgment or necessity dictate.

Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Healthcare, Business, Science, or related area of study; or equivalent combination of education and/or relevant work experience
  • 5 years' work experience in Patient Care, Healthcare, or Retail / Customer Service oriented role
  • Proficient in Pharmacy Platform ScriptMed Enterprise (SMe)
  • At least three years experience in Specialty Pharmacy
  • At least three years experience working with Pharma Clients with a strong understanding of the client partner and relationships
  • Ability to reach agreement through interpretation of facts, practices, policies and using influencing and negotiation skills.
  • Willing to travel up to/at least 10% of the time for business purposes (within state and out of state).


Preferred Qualifications
  • PMI Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) or Project Management Professional (PMP)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Project, Excel, PowerPoint and Planview or other PPM tools
