Description

The American Hospital Association (AHA) is a national organization that represents and serves all types of hospitals, health care networks, and their patients and communities. We are currently seeking an Account Executive for our downtown Chicago office. This position is a hybrid role (three days in the office, two days working remote).

Starting base salary = $87,000 to $109,000 a year (commensurate with related experience) plus sales incentive.

The purpose of this position is to oversee sales, fulfillment, and renewal of commercial licenses of AHA Data assets, focusing (though not exclusively) on the hospital vendor customer segment:

Functions:
  1. Research, develop, and manage existing and new relationships with licensees
  2. Achieve licensing revenue targets and accurate forecasts of same
  3. Achieve delivery and support level targets via AHA Resource Center
  4. Ensure licensee compliance, satisfaction, and value realization
  5. Work with AHA Data to improve the portfolio based on market feedback
  6. Work with AHA Marketing on campaigns to sell and renew assets
  7. Maintain technical competency on the offerings
  8. Stay current on the competitive landscape

Performance metrics:
  1. Growth and renewal targets on defined book of business
  2. Customer satisfaction and service level agreement targets
  3. Development and use of standard licensing contract templates
