This Opportunity: Palladium's Digital Solutions and TransformationPortfolio (DST) accelerates and delivers positive impact by transforminginstitutions through digitally enabled strategies, innovations and investments,while simultaneously advancing inclusive digital ecosystems and enablingenvironments. Our team is developing a portfolio of projects that aim tostrengthen the digital ecosystem so that digital technologies enable social andeconomic progress. We do this by working with clients, both internal andexternal, to understand the ecosystem and operating context, advising on how tointegrate appropriate and responsible digital technologies that unlock insightsand facilitate effective and efficient program delivery. Palladium iscurrently seeking a Senior Manager within the Digital Solutions andTransformation team who will lead activities to grow our emerging portfoliothrough business development and cross-cutting support to other portfolios atPalladium. As a mid-senior level professional in the Portfolio, the SeniorManager will bring project management experience and technical acumen to bothproject delivery and business development. Our Digital Solutions and Transformation teammates areproblem-solvers, technology evangelists, designers, analysts and connectors;they manage and provide technical expertise related to digital transformationand inclusion including business analysis, ecosystem shaping, project designand digital solution development across a wide array of thematic areas. Theseareas may include digital government, digital economy, digital finance, digitalinclusion, digital agriculture and digital for other social sectors. Across activities, the Senior Manager willadvance DST approaches in inclusive digital transformation through private sectorengagement, responsible technology and data, localization, youth and genderinclusion. Palladium professionals at all levels work extensivelyand collaboratively with others in the company (including in otherPractices/Portfolios and in other regions) to advance organizational growth andimpact goals; build relationships and visibility; develop innovative approachesand methodologies; and manage effective, dynamic teams. Experienced Managers will have opportunities tosupport other units within the firm in our collaborative and agile environment,as well as to travel for project oversight or business development pursuits.Future careers within the firm could be in any department or subject area;typically, Managers become thought leaders, proposal champions, and ProjectDirectors as they gain experience and skills; they also may have opportunitiesto fill short- and long-term assignments overseas. Locationand Compensation: The position is based in Palladium's Washington, DC office with anexpectation to be physically present 3 days per week. The position may entailoverseas travel, at approximately 20% time and for periods averaging 2 weeks. Forour prospective employees in the United States, please note that the full-timeequivalent annual base salary for this position is expected to range from $93,000to $140,000, and successful candidates may also be eligible for additional,variable incentive compensation dependent on the role. For part-time employees,the salary will be prorated based on the actual number of hours worked. Reporting and Supervision: This role will report to the Director, DigitalSolutions and Transformation Portfolio and will not have any supervisoryresponsibilities initially, however there will be opportunities for increasedresponsibilities as our work continues to grow. Primary Duties and Responsibilities: The Senior Manager will lead activities to grow theportfolio of activities related to global digital transformation anddevelopment through direct contributions to proposals and through concept generationand implementation activities. The Manager will also contribute toorganizational learning and capacity development activities aimed to increaseawareness of and competencies for digital development, as well as contribute toteam coordination and management activities.
