Description

The American Hospital Association (AHA) is a national organization that represents and serves all types of hospitals, health care networks, and their patients and communities. The AHA has two main offices, located in Washington, D.C. and Chicago. We are currently seeking a Coordinator, Product Strategy for our downtown Chicago office. This position is a hybrid role (three days in the office, two days working remote).
Starting annual salary = $50,000 to $70,000 (commensurate with related experience).

The Coordinator, Product Strategy primarily supports commercial programs account management and product development efforts, as well as special programs and project needs. This position provides assistance to the account management team functions, including but not limited to communication and coordination with business. Partners and sponsors as well as tracking activity and reporting out progress. Supports Product Development/Management functions and responsibilities, which includes but is not limited to, basic data aggregation and reporting, market research and support of product development life cycle functions (e.g. supporting product design, ideation, business requirements, QA and testing activities, as well as others). This is a unique position, which creates an opportunity to make the business more efficient but provides individual coming into the role with wide range of experience and opportunity for new skills development.
  1. Supports Account and Product Managers / Directors on all aspects of assigned projects and work activities.
  2. Creates and maintains Account management project documentation including all pertinent client, business partner, sponsor communication, reports and project documentation, etc.
  3. Creates and maintains Product documentation including all pertinent design documents, business requirement documents, process flows, communication and basic product reports, etc.
  4. Assists with qualitative data collection (interviews, focus groups) and qualitative data analysis.
  5. Tests features throughout the product life cycle and coordinates with quality assurance on features/bugs in the production.
  6. Assists Product team with AHA matrix activities as it relates to consultative product development (e.g. supporting Ready team, Product Portfolio analysis, etc.)
  7. Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor.
