This Engineering Co-Op offers 3 rotation start dates - 1/8/2024, 5/13/2024, 8/26/2024

The Engineering Co-Op Program is designed as a 15-week assignment to assist the site Engineering Managers with day-to-day tasks and special projects. The co-op typically does not fully manage his/her own projects, but rather assists team members and site leadership in achieving goals and initiatives.

The program is "hosted" by the Engineering Department and participants are matched with one of our manufacturing or distribution facilities, research and technical centers, or headquarters. Relocation is a requirement for this program.

Responsibilities

Position Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, assisting the Engineering Manager with:

•Equipment analysis

•New installations and facility revisions

•Developing drawings and specifications for equipment layout

•Investigation of new plant engineering processes and techniques

•Special projects as identified by the Engineering Team

•Present final presentation at the end of rotation to site, program, and division leadership

Qualifications

Position Requirements:
  • Must be currently enrolled in an accredited four-year college or university at the time of the co-op rotation
  • Must have sophomore, junior or senior class standing
  • Must have a minimum overall GPA of 2.8
  • Must be willing to relocate for this position

Preferred Requirements:
  • Major in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Electrical Engineering.

Knowledge & Experience:

Required:
  • Experience with Microsoft Office products such as Word, Excel and Power Point

Preferred:
  • Previous Internship, Co-op or work experience in engineering
  • Previous internship or co-op experience in the Sherwin-Williams Global Supply Chain Division
  • Leadership experience as demonstrated by your involvement in extracurricular activities on campus or in the community.
