Brief Description Performs technical support work on computers, which includes maintaining systems and databases and preparing statistical reports. Detailed Description Prepares flow charts and converts into computer language; and debugs, tests and modifies programs.Inputs data into microcomputer and trains staff on the use of various software packages. Examines documents for accuracy, correctness of coding form and content, and verifies input and output data.Assists in the building and maintenance of a registry database.Designs layout for storage of data.Performs entry level work involved in developing programming plans and instructions to process data and designing forms and instruction sheets for use by others. Prepares, maintains and distributes patient statistics, as requested.Performs other duties as assigned. Job Requirements Education, Experience and Training:Graduation from an accredited high school/GED Program. One (1) year of work related experience or 15 hours of coursework in computer programming from an accredited college or university or a combination of the two. Special Requirements/Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:Skilled in the use of standard software applications. Ability to effectively communicate, both verbally and in writing, and establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, departments and the general public. Physical/Environmental Requirements:Standard office environment. Requires prolonged sitting.
