CORE RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS The position will plan and control all purchasing activities supporting assigned vendors. They will balance purchase and inventory levels with demand to support targets consistent with customer service levels, inventory turns goals and capacity utilization. The position will develop feasible weekly bucketed purchasing schedules by sku to vendor and work to install and measure a compliance metric to measure performance. They will also coordinate toll filling requirements with plants, customer service and suppliers. This role will execute Lean, Continuous Improvement Projects This role will analyze, develop, and test programs and user interfaces required for implementations or enhancements for our Supply Chain systems. They are responsible for troubleshooting any system issues and working with users to gather requirements for new functionality and model enhancements.
