Description

The American Hospital Association (AHA) is a national organization that represents and serves all types of hospitals, health care networks, and their patients and communities. The AHA has two main offices, located in Washington, D.C. and Chicago. We are currently seeking an Administrative Coordinator, ASHE for our Chicago office. This position is a hybrid role (three days in the office, two days working remote).

Starting base salary = $45,000-$56,000 (commensurate with related experience).

The Administrative Coordinator, ASHE provides administrative support to ASHE resource and education programs to advance the ability of ASHE members to operate health facility assets sustainably. The coordinator provides administrative support toward the development sustainability tools and resources under the direction of the Deputy Executive Director, Senior Associate Directors and the Senior Sustainability Specialist, including educational tools, certification programs, monographs, event / meeting coordination etc. Additionally, this position provides administrative support toward the overall product lifecycle and maintenance of existing products and programs.
  1. Provides administrative support for resource development and education programs for ASHE members.
  2. Maintains documentation and files for ASHE's Energy to Care Program including the dashboard.
  3. Maintains project documentation and timelines for a variety of projects.
  4. Assists with the development and maintenance of project plans at onset of projects through product launch.
  5. Coordinates all aspects of product maintenance and development activities, including but not limited to kick-off meetings, external and internal stakeholder alignment, project development meetings, project close-out, product launch, and marketing coordination.
  6. Provides customer service to ASHE members seeking to utilize sustainability resources including the Energy to Care Dashboard.
  7. Ensures accurate and timely distribution of internal and external stakeholder communications.
  8. Provides administrative assistance to Deputy Executive Director, Senior Associate Directors and the Senior Sustainability Specialist in creation of new programs to help advance ASHE initiatives, including but not limited to certification programs and educational resources.
